Yes, Veloi requires a Strava connection to access your training data. Your activities are synced from Strava, allowing your AI coach to provide personalized insights based on your actual rides.
How do I connect Strava?
After signing in, go to Settings and click "Connect Strava". You'll be redirected to Strava to authorize Veloi. Once connected, your activities will sync automatically.
What data does Veloi access from Strava?
Veloi accesses your activity summaries, power data, and heart rate data. We do not access GPS routes, photos, or your social data (followers, kudos). See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I disconnect Strava?
Go to Settings in Veloi and click "Disconnect Strava". You can also revoke access directly in your Strava settings under "My Apps".
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings and scroll to the bottom to find the account deletion option. This will permanently delete all your data including activities, conversations, and profile information.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and your OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we protect your information.
What is FTP and how do I set it?
FTP (Functional Threshold Power) is your estimated maximum sustainable power for one hour. It's used to calculate your power zones and training stress. You can set your FTP in your Profile settings. If you don't know your FTP, ask your AI coach for guidance on how to estimate or test it.
What are CTL, ATL, and TSB?
These are training load metrics. CTL (Chronic Training Load) represents your fitness, ATL (Acute Training Load) represents fatigue, and TSB (Training Stress Balance) represents your form. Your AI coach can explain these in detail and help you interpret your numbers.
