Welcome to Veloi. By using our application and services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Veloi, operated by Veloi Pty Ltd ("Veloi", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Veloi is an AI-powered cycling coaching application that:

  • Connects to your Strava account to access training data
  • Provides personalized coaching through AI-powered conversations
  • Calculates and displays training metrics and analytics
  • Offers training plan creation and management

3. Account Registration

To use Veloi, you must:

  • Create an account using Google Sign-In
  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Strava Integration

Veloi requires connection to a Strava account to function. By connecting Strava:

  • You authorize Veloi to access your activity data as described in our Privacy Policy
  • You confirm you have the right to share this data with Veloi
  • You understand Veloi is a third-party application, not affiliated with Strava

You may disconnect Strava at any time through your Veloi settings or Strava's app management page.

5. AI Coaching Disclaimer

Veloi provides general fitness guidance, not medical advice.

  • AI coaching suggestions are based on your training data and general sports science principles
  • Veloi is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new exercise program or if you have health concerns
  • You assume full responsibility for your training decisions and physical activities

If you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or other concerning symptoms during exercise, stop immediately and seek medical attention.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Use automated systems or bots to access the Service
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit the AI system

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding your personal data), is owned by Veloi and protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of your personal data. By using the Service, you grant Veloi a limited license to use your data as described in our Privacy Policy to provide and improve the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Veloi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
  • We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • We are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on AI coaching suggestions
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Veloi and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time
  • Update these Terms with reasonable notice
  • Terminate accounts that violate these Terms

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes to the Service or these Terms.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it in Settings. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Veloi regarding the Service.
